Going sentient is your next plan on “going sentient and healthy” now, with Vegan dark carob raspberry tart is the new taste.

In fact, before I got into health mentoring and coaching sentient lifestyle: many students ask, is dark chocolate healthy?  YES, I said it’s loaded with nutritional benefits and NO because its caffeine content is a stimulant. Do you know if you feed a dog with pure chocolate, it will die? Don’t test it, please, I don’t know if it is true. The caffeine will accelerate the heartbeat of the dog out of control. As it affects human will affect a dog as well.

Chocolates are sweetened with sugar and loaded with milk. Not a very healthy option unless you get the pure 100% chocolate or cacao powder or nibs. I have used whole cacao seeds soaked in water for 24 hours and blended into a paste mixed with bentonite clay and applied over the entire body. Then lay down on the beach until the clay dries out. After an hour or so, we all dived into the ocean and playfully washed away all the chocolate.

My skin remained shining and smooth for 3 days. My students were totally amazed during our 10-day detox camp in Mexico. Chocolate minerals, essential oils, and other nutrients made chocolate just as valuable as gold during the Maya civilization as its health value is as rich as gold. Chocolate in its pure state has 632 antioxidants and theobromine. Theo meaning god and Broma meaning Thus food for Gods.

Have you met people who don’t like the taste of chocolate? Delicious as it is, the older and more in tune one gets with your body, you will not like how chocolate makes you feel. You may begin to experience mild headaches after eating it, especially in summer when taken in large quantities. It can also upset your digestion. Heed the call when your body speaks. Unfortunately, most people have lost touch with that part. So, heed the call when your body speaks.

They include potassium, which is necessary for heart function and has been shown to decrease blood pressure. Raspberries contain omega-3 fatty acids, which can help prevent stroke and heart disease. They also include manganese, a mineral that is important for bone and skin health as well as blood sugar regulation.

Chocolate the Darkside 🙂

The caffeine and sugar in processed chocolate are the likely culprits, which may trigger headaches, cause irritation to the intestines, and stress various glands and the endocrine system. High-quality dark chocolate contains 632 antioxidants that super powerful stuff in a nut.  But for people who are sensitive to caffeine, have an auto-immune disease, IBS, or are overstressed, it’s much better to switch to a chocolate alternative like a Carob.

There is no need to give it up totally to prevent any negative experience or side effects from eating it. Moderation is key, just like anything else. But, if you do, you may want to switch to this delicious Carob Raspberry tart as an alternative.

Alternative Chocolate

Carob comes from the pod of a tree that grows along the Mediterranean Sea, Italy, Greece, Turkey, the coast of northern Africa, and the Iberian peninsula.

It has a sweet edible pulp that is dried and ground into a powder that resembles cocoa powder in look, similar in taste like chocolate, but not close enough, replacing one for one in recipes. Available in most health food stores.
