Diabetes is a condition in which the glucose (sugar) level in the blood is unnaturally high. Diabetes, as several studies have shown is a lifestyle disorder that is manageable and also reversible. One of the primary ways to reverse diabetes is a lifestyle and dietary modification. When it comes to diet, the key to preventing and managing diabetes and other lifestyle diseases is eliminating white flour, sugar, dairy, and processed and packaged foods from our diet. These foods are stripped of their natural essences and stand on our shelves as empty ghosts without nutritional souls.
To check how processed and devoid of essential nutrients, industrially packaged foods are, leave a packet of white flour open for six months. It will neither go bad nor be infected by pests. This is because, during industrial processing, most nutrients from flour are stripped. In addition to that, the flour is also bleached to give it a pure white color. Thus, even insects do not feed on it, but this is what most of us consume on a daily basis.
The human body is designed evolutionarily to adapt, thrive, and live at optimum levels both mentally and physically. But today, children around the world are getting sick more frequently than ever before. Kids in their early teens across Europe, North and South America are developing type 1 and 2 diabetes. This is not natural and is induced by an unhealthy lifestyle and diet. Hundreds of studies have shown that by altering their lifestyle and diet, and through good nutrition, exercise, and meditation, people have reversed lifestyle diseases like diabetes and many others. Thus, preventing these diseases requires an understanding of how the body and mind function and what they need to function efficiently. It is imperative to be conscious about and take care of ourselves and our family’s health because there is no substitution for good health.

- 2 leaves of spinach
- 4 leaves of green cabbage leaves
- 1 small bunch of basil leaves
- 1 drop of rosemary thyme, sage essential oil
- 1 tbsp of coconut oil
Using a slow juicer (masticating juicer)
When using a slow juicer, cut all the ingredients into small pieces.
Place them in a slow juicer and extract the juice. Add 1 tbsp of coconut oil, mix, and consume
Using a fast juicer (centrifugal juicer)
When using a fast juicer, first juice fleshy fruits, and veggies. Then add the remaining ingredients. After blending everything into a smooth pulp, strain it through a cheesecloth and squeeze it out the juice manually. Once you squeeze the juice, add coconut oil, mix well and consume.
Juice extracted using a fast juicer will oxidize more quickly as compared to the juice extracted using a slow juicer. This is because fast juicer spins at 3000rpm which incorporates more air into the juice and fastens the oxidation process.
It is best to prepare the juice fresh, however, you can also store it in a refrigerator (at 4°C) for 2 to 3 days.
