Okra JinglePrint Recipe
- Nutty Okra stir fry
- 6 Medium Okra
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp roasted sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Kikkoman soya sauce
- 1 tbsp coconut cream or (yoghurt for non vegan)
- 2 tsp Pine nuts
- 1 tbsp raisins
- 1 tbsp goji berries
- 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 1 tsp pumpkin seeds
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp peanut nuts
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
Place skillet over medium heat.
Sauté all the okra on skillet with sesame oil for two or three minutes.
Add soya sauce and sprinkle cinnamon powder over the okra and remove from heat.
place the okra on to plate and spoon over it with coconut cream or yoghurt and its ready to serve.
More elaborate preparation
You can sauté the okras whole or sliced into two or three pieces and set aside.
Sauté all nuts in sesame oil until slightly brown, add spices and stir for one or two minutes
Add the goji berries and raisins and add soya sauce and mix well.
Add sliced okra and stir for few seconds.
Remove from heat and its ready to serve with the main dish.
