An Ulcer Story

Ayurvedic remedies and treatments have been used, for centuries, to prevent and heal peptic ulcers. This green juice  aptly named ‘Ulcer Buster‘, is a powerhouse of nutrients with natural ulcer healing properties, and has worked wonders for many of my friends who suffered from peptic ulcers. Here’s an ulcer story of one of my closest friends, who was suffering from ulcers for a long time, and how this green juice cleanse transformed him.

The ulcer story is about my friend, a chief at a fire station, who led a very stressful life. The stress of the job, and an unhealthy diet, took a toll on his health. For 25 years, he suffered from severe stomach pains and regularly took medicine to relieve the pain. One day, he was fed up with stuffing medicine into his system and decided to stop taking them. A day later, he started having excruciating stomach pains but refused to go back to pain medication. He writhed in pain for almost a week, unable to even get out of bed. That was when his wife decided to call me for suggestions on how to soothe the pain. When his wife told me that he had been vomiting everything he ate for the last few days, I asked him to stop eating solid food and go on a juice fast. 

I also visited him immediately and gave him a shot – a capful – of ‘gripe water.’ (Gripe water is produced from dill/ajwain seeds and oil extracted from celery seeds). Then I moved out into the living room to discuss the situation with his wife. 8 to 10 minutes later, my friend also joined us, as his stomach pains had now subsided. His wife was indeed surprised to see him smile after moaning and groaning for the past few days. We agreed he immediately start on a 30-day green juice regime. Furthermore, I suggested that he get an endoscopy performed to verify the condition of his stomach.

After consulting his doctor, endoscopy results showed that he had ulcers half the size of a ping pong ball in his stomach, he started the green juice regimen. During this time, he not only began to feel better but also to lose weight. His potbelly slimmed down, and he felt healthier than ever before. As he felt much better, I requested him to have another endoscopy done to verify the green juice had begun to heal his stomach. Two weeks later, to the surprise of my friend, his doctor, and the lab technician, his gastrointestinal arthroscopy showed that the ulcer had healed and there were no open sores in the location where the ulcer had formerly been. My friend mentioned that his doctor commented that he “had never seen someone recover so fast with such a severe ulcer in such a short time.” After following the green juice regime for only two weeks, my friend, now a retired chief fireman, healed as he drank away his peptic ulcers. He continued with the juicing regimen to ensure the healing process continued and improved his general health. 

It has been years now, and he has never experienced ulcer-induced pains again. Although he has gone back to his regular unhealthy diet of white bread, butter, and coffee, he takes care not to indulge in too many acidic foods, and once a year undertakes this 2-week green juice method. 

When we feed our body with sufficient nutrition-rich food and all the systems work so beautifully, we will never know what it is to be ill. In my life, I have seen many healthy and unhealthy people. The differences are what we CHOOSE to eat, how we work, and how we treat the body.
