Ustrasana or Camel Pose is an asana practiced in Yoga. It comes from the samskrta words ‘Uṣṭra’ which means camel, and asana which means posture or pose. This asana strengthens the lower three cakras and helps strengthen the abdominal muscles, burns stomach fat, and also helps control anger.
How to Execute Ustrasana:
- Lie with the back touching the floor, spine aligned.
- Engaging the abdominal muscles/core, slowly lift both legs off the floor until it reaches a 30-degree angle.
- Keep the arms straight and close to the sides of the body.
