Why Fenugreek Seeds are Good for You:

Methi dana (fenugreek seed) is an excellent blood sugar regulator; Sprouted fenugreek is exceptionally beneficial for people with diabetes as it helps lower and regulates blood sugar levels. Sprouted fenugreek is better, as it has 30-40% nutritive properties than just soaked seeds.

According to Ayurveda, methi seeds create heat in the body, and therefore it is best for Kapha (water-dominant) body types. People with Kapha body type must add more heat-producing foods to their diet.

Kapha dominant person can have fenugreek seeds, tea, or any other form – sprouted, powdered, soaked, or whole.

Pitta or fire dominant people can have water from soaked fenugreek seeds or the liquid drained after soaking or sprouting them. Drinking that water will relieve people from acidity and abdominal-related issues.

The amber-colored seeds are excellent and unique for their flavoring in food and are widely used in Ayurveda remedies to make concoctions to relieve common ailments.

Some other health benefits of fenugreek seeds are:

Antacid: You can consume soaked fenugreek seeds on an empty stomach to help decrease acidity.

Digestion: Add soaked fenugreek seeds or sprouts regularly to your meals to promote digestion and keep gastritis at bay.
