The nicest aspect about this dish is that it can be prepared ahead of time and then reheated in the oven before serving. This recipe works best with particularly ripe bananas. Buy a few extra bananas a week before to give them time to ripe and soften.
These are fluffy, moist, infused with sweet banana flavor, and loved by both toddlers and adults.
The halved green grapes give a slightly sweet and sour touch to the soft mellow banana flavor as the brown sugar melts into the grapes and banana.
Celestial Banana
Celestial banana is the quick-to-make dessert that is equally loved by all peeps who eat it!
Ingredients
- 12 bananas grilled with ghee
- 2 banana blended smoothly
- 1 kiwi
- 1 lemon juice
- 1/2 lemon juice to squeeze over grilled banana
- 3-4 green grapes grilled for garnish
- 2 cups of coconut cream for the sauce
- 2 tbsp of coconut milk powder
Instructions
Set the oven to 180 c.
Sauce 1
Make this sauce by blending 1 kiwi, 1 lemon juice, and 2 overripe bananas smoothly.
Sauce 2
Add rice powder to flour, mix well and cook over medium heat until thick, add coconut milk, stir until soft thick, and smooth; divide into portions and set aside.
Filling
Sauté 4 bananas on a saucepan with coconut butter, ghee, or milk butter.
Layout the banana on a tray and pour coconut cream sauce over the first layer of banana.
Place the second layer of banana and pour the Kiwi and lemon juice sauce over the second layer.
Place the third layer of banana and pour the coconut cream sauce of the banana.
Place the tray and bake for 30 minutes.
When it is done, let it cool and serve with a fresh coconut cream over each option and garnish with green grapes or any fruit of your choice and serve.
