These are the most protein-dense chickpea balls you’ll ever have! This easy cookie recipe has only 8 ingredients and is excellent for any cookie lover.

Not only are the small balls tasty, but they’re also easy to make. For the ideal ecstasy, all you need are eight ingredients, a fork, a bowl, and ten minutes of your time. These are roughly 2 cm in diameter, as I want my carob chickpea Balls to be a little smaller. The recipe makes 20 – 30 balls depending on size and is therefore ideal for sharing: unexpected guests, a comfort snack for your best friend, or a movie night that is still missing a treat.

Carob Chickpea Balls are your perfect delight as they are full of high-quality plant based protein that are perfect for making at parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chickpea flour (gram flour)
  • 2 cups Carob powder
  • 2 cups of coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup rose water
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup Coconut cream
  • 2 drops of spearmint essential oil

Instructions

Mix carob powder to rose water thoroughly, add coconut sugar, and mix well until sugar dissolves in rose water.

In a separate pan roast, the chickpea flour over low heat continuously mixing the flour gently. Do not allow the flour to burn at the bottom.

Now add carob powder, rose water, drops of spearmint oil and mix slowly to the flour while still stirring.

The liquid will get absorbed into the flour, turn into a chocolaty paste, and form a soft lump. No worries, keep on stirring until the flour is cooks well. Spread it out thin, let it cool, and then make it into 1.5cm /1 inch balls.

Rub coconut oil between your palms.

Take a teaspoon full and roll it into balls between your palms.

Rollover desiccated coconut mixed with coconut sugar.

This will make a coat around the balls, arrange it on a plate to serve.
